BDO Remittance partners -- Canada to Philippines

Note:  For very big amounts of money, it is advisable that you send through global money transfer companies, such as Moneygram, Western Union, Xoom (if you have a U.S. bank account, credit card or debit card) or through wire transfer.

If you have an account with Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto, you can make a wire transfer or bank-to-bank transfer. Royal Bank of Canada is a BDO correspondent bank. The BDO swift code is BNORPHMM.

Usually, wire transfers are more expensive than other remittance systems, but they are more secure. They also comply with Canada's international money transfer laws. You can also make a wire transfer at your own bank, but it will use an intermediary bank (a BDO correspondent bank), and this will increase your total remittance cost.
